R&D and sourcing for hardware, software and maintenance. IT infrastructure: desktop applications, LAN and WAN, IT security and telecommunications. Implementing a network extension for new classrooms. Maintenance of PCs and servers. Backup and storage of sensitive data. Software Register and licensing; IT administration for new starters, transfers and leavers. Active Directory user management. Disaster recovery and compliance with Health and Safety, Security and Welfare procedures. Handling staff queries and prioritising workload to deadlines.
